The excitement is palpable as the Miss Universe organization has released details about pivotal events. The preliminary competition, set for November 15, will showcase the contestants in swimsuit and evening gown rounds, followed by the national costume show on November 16. 
This year’s edition is groundbreaking, as it opens its doors to mothers and married women, marking a significant shift toward inclusivity and diversity. The age criteria remain between 18-28 years, underscoring the organization’s dedication to challenging traditional standards.
A total of 85 outstanding women are vying for the prestigious title, each representing their country with immense pride.
In a historic turn, Maria Camila Avella Montanez from Colombia and Michelle Cohn from Guatemala are the first mothers and married women to participate, reshaping the conventional Miss Universe contestant profile. 
Rikkie Valerie Kolle of the Netherlands and Marina Machete from Portugal are notable as the second and third transgender women to compete in Miss Universe, following Angela Ponce in 2018. In a significant stride for global inclusivity, Pakistan will debut in the pageant, with Erica Robin as its representative.
